City officials accepted a bid to purchase five vehicles for McMinnville Police Department. The purchase totaled $103,475 and was not made locally.Purchased were five, 2013 four-door, front-wheel-drive Chevrolet Impala Police Pursuit Sedans in the amount of $20,695 each from Chevrolet of Murfreesboro.Voting unanimously were Mayor Norman Rone, Vice Mayor Everett Brock, and Aldermen Jimmy Haley, Billy Wood and Rick Barnes. Absent was Alderman Clair Cochran.
