McMinnville officials hashed out proposed nonprofit donations for fiscal year 2014-15 on Tuesday night. The grand total at this time is $228,931.To come up with the revenue, Mayor Jimmy Haley suggested removing the 10-cent tax decrease that has been proposed and keeping the tax rate unchanged. Haley said that would generate $200,000 annually.“The 10-cent property tax decrease is $200,000 and over five years, that’s $1 million out of our revenue stream,” said Haley.
