Measure to go before full board

McMinnville officials found it difficult to uproot a line of magnolia trees in downtown McMinnville. A committee was unable to decide their fate Tuesday night and sent the measure to the full board for its consideration.Allowing the destiny of the trees to be placed in the hands of the full board were Street and Sanitation Committee members Rick Barnes, Billy Wood and Jimmy Bonner, who were deadlocked on the measure.“I wouldn’t be opposed to taking them out if we put trees back in their place,” said Barnes. “I would like to leave at least one of them.
