Circuit Court: Drug Sentences

Nine people were sentenced to jail on drug charges recently by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley. Included in drug sentences:• Kenny Wayne Bly was given a year in prison and must pay $1,000 plus costs and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for simple possession of marijuana.• Deborah A. Evans was instructed to serve 120 days of a four-year sentence, pay $2,000 plus costs and forfeit her TennCare benefits for delivery of Dihydrocodenone.• Tisha Elaine Burns was instructed to serve 90 days of a two-year sentence, pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 30 hours public service work for fraudulently obtaining drugs.• Carrie Lynn Green was ordered to serve four years in prison and pay $2,000 plus costs for promoting the manufacture of meth. She must also serve the balance of her probation in jail for violating her probation for smuggling drugs into the county jail.• Charleston Dakota Ortega must serve 210 days of an eight-year sentence, pay $2,000 plus costs and will be allowed to remain on probation with the drug court for possession of drugs and violation of probation on the charge of promoting the manufacture of meth.• Brian Anthony Pease was directed to serve 150 days of a three-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of drugs.• Alice Reese was ordered to serve 30 days of a four-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of drugs.• Annette Kathleen West was instructed to serve 60 days of a three-year sentence, perform 30 hours public service work and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of meth.• Dewayne Warren Wilder was given a four-year penitentiary sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of drugs.
