Sentences were handed down by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley recently for crimes ranging from grand theft to failure to appear in court.
• Bryan J. Cooke was instructed to serve 73 days of a three-year sentence and pay $1,000 plus costs for theft over $1,000.
• John William Griffin was directed to serve 15 days of a three-year sentence, make $11,032 restitution and pay $75 to the economic crimes fund for theft over $10,000.
• Tosha Marie Phomphanh was directed to serve 20 days of a three-year sentence and must pay $400 plus costs and perform 32 hours public service work for reckless endangerment with a weapon and DUI.
• Joshua Scott Owens was directed to serve 180 days of a one-year sentence, pay $100 plus costs and perform 24 hours public service work for failure to appear and violating his probation for theft, forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card.
