Sentences have been handed down by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley for crimes ranging from drug trafficking to petty theft. Included in sentencing action:• Stevey Ray Griffin was directed to serve two years in prison for delivery of drugs in a school zone.• Brian Michael Rhoady was directed to serve 100 days of a four-year sentence, pay $2,000 plus costs, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment, and perform 32 hours public service work for promoting the manufacture of meth.• Stacey Elaine Johnson was ordered to serve 10 days of a three-year sentence, undergo drug and alcohol assessments, pay $2,000 plus costs, and perform 16 hours public service work for delivery of drugs. She will also be required to maintain full-time employment as part of her probation.• Dustin Joseph Moran was granted a three-year judicial diversion and must pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 100 hours public service work for delivery of drugs.• Gary Skip Powell was granted a three-year judicial diversion and must pay $2,000 plus costs, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment, and perform 80 hours public service work for delivery of drugs.• Wesley Charles Maloy was instructed to serve 14 days of an 11-29 sentence and make $390 restitution for theft.• Laura Dennis was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $150 plus costs, and perform eight hours public service work for theft and simple possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Circuit Court
