A career burglar may have committed his last break-in after the court threw the book at him, sentencing him to 23 years in prison.The man, Ronald H. Aho, 50, entered best-interest pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to a string of charges involving thefts and burglaries. In all, Aho entered pleas to 10 counts involving six different incidents dating back to 2012.The charges include three counts of aggravated burglary, six counts of grand theft, and one count of misdemeanor theft.His most recent arrest came when he was caught coming out of a woman’s house by a family member. An inspection revealed the door had been kicked in and a TV laid by the door for removal.What followed were additional charges, laid at Aho’s doorstep, for other break-ins and thefts.Aho had just gotten out of jail prior to his most recent spree, a jail term he was handed after he entered pleas to another burglary charge.
