The Warren County Election Commission will meet today at 10 a.m. to determine if Ben Foust can be placed on the ballot to run for McMinnville alderman.Foust has successfully submitted his qualifying petition and has been actively campaigning. However, it appears he hasn’t lived in the city limits long enough to hold office.“It will be up to the Election Commission to decide, but it appears pretty straightforward to me,” said election administrator Donna Smith. “You must have one year of residency within the city in order to run and he doesn’t meet that requirement.”Smith said according to paperwork in her office, Foust closed on his home on Oakhill Drive on April 30.
