The primary purpose of this column is to report business news that’s happening around Warren County, but occasionally I get sidetracked. In this case, I’d like to take a moment to tell you a story that teaches a valuable life lesson. It comes from Oklahoma where an Elk City man picked an extremely bad time to offer a marriage proposal. According to police reports, Justin Harrel was spotted by officers at a local park and recognized as a person who was wanted on two outstanding warrants. When law enforcement converged and placed Harrel under arrest, he made a plea with officers to allow him five minutes to talk to his girlfriend because he came to the park to propose.
