Burglary probe leads to meth lab

A couple caught in possession of a meth lab as lawmen were investigating them for a burglary has been indicted with one of the two already opting to enter a plea bargain.Jason Mac Brown, 38, and Heather Leann Brown, 32, were both indicted on charges of aggravated burglary, possession of stolen property, and initiating the process to manufacture meth.Mrs. Brown entered a plea by information to her charges and was given 42 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for her part in the burglary/ meth lab operation. Mr. Brown will have a trial date set in his case.They were arrested after a witness saw a vehicle fitting the description of the one owned by the Browns at the scene of a home burglary on Shellsford Road. The house was broken into through a window.
