A man with a long record as a burglar was sentenced to four years in prison for stealing from his own mother.The burglar, Clinton Wayne Bryant, entered a guilty plea before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of burglary and grand theft. He was given a four-year sentence which will be served as a range II offender due to his prior record which includes seven prior burglary convictions.Both he and his brother, Charles Lewis Bryant, were on parole when they were pulled over by police after they were seen going the wrong way down Morford Street in the downtown area. Clinton Bryant was driving the vehicle in which lawmen found a shotgun.
