Brown to serve five days

A man who was caught with marijuana when a party was raided on Winding Way will serve five days in jail.The defendant, Justin Kelley Brown, 24, was directed by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to serve five days of a three-year sentence on the charge of casual exchange of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession of an unlawful weapon. He must pay $500 plus costs and forfeit his weapon.Brown was arrested after police came to the house when 911 received a call from an open line at the residence. When officers pulled up, they immediately knew something was wrong.“I saw several people running out,” said McMinnville patrolman Corey Floyd, noting he then saw two people standing outside.
