Bridgestone Warren Plant handed out a total of $59,000 in donations to local nonprofits at its annual luncheon banquet held at Bridgestone Learning Center. Bridgestone Warren local checks came to $9,000, while $50,000 in funding was provided by the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund.Bridgestone Warren plant manager Bruce Johnson and community relations representative Carol Rose made the presentations. Johnson said Bridgestone is pleased to be able to provide funding so these organizations can continue providing much-needed services to local residents.“We want to give back to the community,” Johnson said.
