Ernest Brewington has been named Warren County’s new veterans service officer. Brewington will replace Chuck Mayfield who tendered his resignation with the county effective March 31.Brewington received top scores in both the application and interview process. He earned a perfect score on his application from the county’s Policy and Personnel Committee, and a near-perfect score following his interview Tuesday night.Members of the committee had met previously and narrowed the field of 22 applicants to seven candidates they wanted to interview.
