Brady sentenced for aiding escape

The final conspirator in aiding the escape of two inmates from Warren County Jail last October has been sentenced.The defendant, Latricia Brady, entered a plea agreement this past week before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of facilitating felony and misdemeanor escape. She was directed to serve 120 days of a four-year sentence and perform 50 hours public service work.Her sentence was the least of the four people who lawmen say helped George (Hondo) Pease and Marty Cooper Jr. after they escaped from their jail cell by breaking a hole in the block wall by using a metal urinal pipe. The other three helpers, Pease’s girlfriend Sherry Turner, 40; Cooper’s mother Josie Cooper and friend Joshua Phillips were each ordered to serve 180 days for their part in helping the two fugitives.
