Lack of education is a challenge to growth — that was the motivation used by Business Roundtable Action Committee (BRAC) members in encouraging McMinnville officials to invest in higher education.“Raising the education level of McMinnville and Warren County will result in much higher wealth, improved quality of life, less crime, volunteerism goes up. It’s a win-win situation. For the long term, I can’t imagine a higher priority,” said BRAC chairman Todd Herzog.To help students achieve a higher education, BRAC has started a Citizens for Progress scholarship.
