Boyd students portray American legends

F.C. Boyd Christian School’s third annual Living History Wax Museum attracted 30 historical “figures” yesterday ranging from Pocahontas to Neil Armstrong.Students in grades 3-5 dressed like various characters from history. The students stood perfectly still, like wax figures, until someone stepped on the red button on the floor in front of them. When the button was pushed, students came to life to tell about their history.Susan B. Anthony was played by Adeline Travis.“I wanted to play Susan B. Anthony,” said Travis.
