A teen accused of killing a passenger when he crashed his vehicle into a tree while joyriding in a farm field has gotten his bond cut in half. The defendant, Ramiro “ReRe” Ibarra, 19, won his bond appeal following a hearing before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley. His bond was reduced from $250,000 to $125,000. That amount, his defense admits, is still probably too high for him to make as he remained behind bars at press time. The ruling to cut his bond in half came despite a large crowd which opposed any lower bond.
