Sign-ups are under way for McMinnville youth baseball and softball at McMinnville Civic Center. Among the leagues offered this year will be girls fast-pitch softball, says the citys new athletic coordinator Terry Beard.
Terry Beard has slid into home plate as the city of McMinnville’s athletic coordinator just as the baseball and softball seasons are about to begin.“I’m excited for this opportunity,” said Beard. “I’ve been around softball most of my life. My goal is to keep this program pointed in the right direction and offer a safe environment for youth to play ball.”Beard was the president of the Warren County Church League Softball Association for more than 20 years.
