Members of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association recently held a social for members in the organization. A chili competition ended with Mike Baus a spice above the rest.“I don’t like to brag, but I won the cook-off for the second year in a row,” said Baus. “I almost didn’t enter this year because my chili is so delicious I knew others did not stand a chance.”Baus says he wanted to allow the title to pass onto someone else, until he was challenged.“I received a challenge from a police official who prefers to remain anonymous, so I had no choice but to enter,” said Baus, who jokes about the possible repercussions of accepting the dare and smoking the competition.
