First-time author Ronald R. Cooper will be at Magness Library this Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. for a photo presentation and book signing.Cooper is a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. He spent years researching the Trail of Tears, and in the winter of 2011, walked the length of the Northern route as closely as he could to the original roadbed. He is said to be first person to do so in modern times.
