Animal Control to get pickup for $13,900

With its current vehicle “on its last leg,” Animal Control will be getting a new vehicle, according to a budget amendment passed by the Warren County Commission at its monthly meeting Monday night. The new vehicle, a 2006 pickup with 35,000 miles, is being purchased from state surplus. Said Health and Welfare Committee chairman Michael Martin, “Anything from the state usually has low mileage.”The truck comes at a price of $13,900.
