No animals have been euthanized at Warren County Animal Control in two months. Instead, they have been adopted, rescued or fostered.“We have not euthanized any animals in the two months I’ve been here,” said Animal Control officer Kim Pettrey. “I’m very proud of that.”From Aug. 12 to Sept. 9, the facility’s records show 20 dogs, 38 puppies, three cats, and 17 kittens have been brought in or picked up by Pettrey.
