Acclaimed military band to perform at WCHS

The acclaimed 572nd Air National Guard Band of the Smoky Mountains will have a free performance this Wednesday at the Warren County High School Auditorium. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the performance is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
The Warren County Band Boosters have organized the show to bring a top-flight band to the area.
The Air National Guard Band has performed in 21 states, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. The band is stationed at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base near Knoxville and is the official musical ambassador for the Tennessee Air National Guard.
The ability to offer a wide variety of musical programming is a source of great pride for this premiere unit. Concerts typically include traditional concert band pieces, military marches, patriotic selections, jazz, rock and country western selections.
