Only one lane of Interstate 24 West is open in Murfreesboro following a wreck involving a tractor-trailer on Wednesday morning. The scene is not expected to be cleared until after 10 a.m.

Murfreesboro Fire Department Shift Commander Tim Swann said an Averitt Express truck carrying auto manufacturing parts hit the wall between I-24 and the off-ramp for Exit 76 just before 4 a.m. The cause of the crash is unknown.

Concrete debris from the crash is now spread out along the roadway.
