Monday night’s boys senior league action featured two games with very different stakes. The first night featured two teams battling to stay out of last place, while the second game was a clash of two of the league’s top teams.The La Cazona Braves and Custom Collision Yankees were the first up, with the Yankees prevailing 10-3 to pick up their first win of the season.In the second game, the Hall’s Backhoe Dodgers outlasted the Pioneer Pediatric Cardinals 14-11 to force a tie at the top of the senior league standings.The Braves, who won their first game before dropping four straight, were hoping they could get back to their winning ways against the 0-4 Yankees. Trey Cantrell had other things in mind though, as he pitched a gem to help his team win for the first time.Cantrell pitched six innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out five.
