The Lady Pioneers saw their three-game winning streak snapped Tuesday.Coffee County walloped Warren County 5-0, building a four-goal lead by halftime and cruising to its fourth straight victory in the rivalry.“Coffee County is very physical and it took us out of our game a bit,” said coach Todd Willmore. “I need to do a better job motivating our girls to compete from the first whistle and encourage them through the match.”Warren County (4-3) seemed to be playing catchup from the first whistle, with the Lady Raiders scoring early and often. By halftime, Coffee County had tallied four goals – more than any other team had scored in a full game against Warren County this season. The Lady Pioneers had several chances to get on the scoreboard, but Willmore credited Coffee County’s keeper for preserving the shutout.“We had some looks, but she did a nice job of holding a high line and taking away our scoring chances,’ said Willmore.Willmore wasted little time trying to get his team to refocus, knowing a big challenge is on the horizon.
