Playing for the second time in three days, the Warren County Middle School football team fought through fatigue to pick up its sixth victory.The Pioneers went to Whitwell and won 24-22 in overtime as the team packs in three games in the final week of the season.Coach Greg Cotten, who scheduled two extra games in the final week, knew his team was tired when the team got on the bus to Whitwell. Facing adversity, coach Cotten saw his team band together to pick up a win.“I think we showed how tough we are as a team,” said Cotten. “It’s not easy to play on one day’s rest.
