Runs were hard to come by when the WCMS Pioneers played host to Coffee County on Thursday night at Pioneer Field.The Red Raiders would send a runner home in the top of the first after starting their lineup with two outs, then following up with four consecutive base hits to score 1 run. It would be the last run Coffee County would have as the Pioneers found 3 runs of their own, in the top of the third, fifth and sixth innings to win, 3-1.The win leaves the Pioneers (6-0, 4-0) still undefeated.Jace Brantley led Warren County at the plate with 3 hits and drove in two of the Pioneer runs with Wyatt Wilson driving in the last one.The game turned into a pitching duel, as both clubs allowed 7 hits and 3 walks apiece. Braden Bottoms opened the game for Warren County and pitched two, followed by Brantley who took over in the top of the third to finish the game.
