The cookie hasn’t crumbled in favor of the Warren County Middle School football team this year.The Pioneers traveled to Winchester on Tuesday and were handed a 44-0 loss by Franklin South.“Things aren’t going very good right now,” said WCMS coach Donnie Harris.The highlight for WCMS came in the third quarter when the Pioneers took the second-half kickoff and marched down field behind the power running of Braylon Grayson and Keldrick Cox. Also key on the drive was a fourth-down catch by Blake Anaya to keep the chains moving.The Pioneers drove inside the 10-yard line before a fumble resulted in a huge play for Franklin South.“They picked up the fumble and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown,” said Harris. “That pretty much killed all the momentum we had.
