Coach Matt Jackson has seen his Warren County Middle School boys soccer team get so close to capturing titles in the last two seasons. He’s hoping with another talented squad ready to hit the field, this may be the year the Pioneers take the Central Tennessee Conference by storm.Warren County has looked dominant in the preseason, claiming big victories over Algood and Blackman, and coach Jackson is hopeful the success will translate when the season starts Tuesday, March 12 at White County.Passing early tests has given coach Jackson a reason to be optimistic about his deep and talented team.“I like to play top teams in the preseason so that we can prepare for conference games,” said Jackson. “These are good teams we are beating pretty soundly, so it’s a good start and great preparation for us.”Warren County began its preseason schedule by defeating Algood 4-1.
