The WCMS Lady Pioneer soccer team squeaked past the Coffee County Lady Raiders to move to 2-0 on the season with a hard-fought win Thursday night in McMinnville.Behind goals from Jessica Chastain and Breezy Wanamaker, WCMS captured a 2-1 victory.“We came out and did what we were supposed to do,” said WCMS coach Matt Walker. “With a very athletic goal by Breezy Wanamaker and great saves by Molly Dodd, we were able to come out with a win.”In the first half, the Lady Pioneer struggled to find the net on numerous shot attempts. With 15 minutes left in the first half, striker Jaden Smartt was able to break through Coffee County’s defense, making a beautiful cross to Chastain for the Lady Pioneers first goal.
