Playing at home hasn’t always been kind to the Warren County Middle School girls basketball team, but Thursday night the Lady Pioneers looked comfortable on their home court.Warren County got the best of Tullahoma West Middle School in a foul fest, winning 40-23 to even its record at home this season.The Lady Pioneers shot a season-high 30 free throws, making 16, en route to winning for the third time on their court this season.Fouls started piling up early on Tullahoma West as Elsa Eckenrod and Emily Webb took the ball strong to the basket.Eckenrod began the game with a three-point play, then added two makes from the charity stripe moments later. Webb split four free throws in the first quarter to help the Lady Pioneers take a 9-7 lead.Madison Mason took over duties of pounding the Tullahoma defense in the second quarter. The Lady Pioneer point guard earned four trips to the free-throw line in the period and made four of the freebies.Tatum Young and Neva Tackett added layups as Warren County went to the half leading 17-12.
