The WCMS sixth-grade girls couldn’t have asked for more consistency in their regular-season finale Tuesday night.

The Lady Pioneers scored six points in every quarter to capture a 24-13 win over visiting Morrison.

The win gives WCMS a 5-3 record at the close of the regular season. Morrison drops to 2-5.

Bri Taylor led the Lady Pioneers with a game-high 10 points. She came on strong with eight points in the second half.

Morrison stalled coming out of the gate, only scoring three points in the first quarter and failing to score at all in the second quarter. The Lady Eagles generated more firepower after the break behind two 3-pointers from Sasha Alvarez, but it wasn’t enough.
