The Warren County Middle School 5-6 grade Lady Pioneers remain in second place by defeating the Bobby Ray Lady Stars, 26-5, Monday.Playing host to the Lady Stars, the Lady Pioneers (11-3) held a shutout, 16-0, at the half.It wasn’t until the third quarter the Bobby Ray (2-11) girls put up their best offense scoring all 5 points after Sadie Duggin and Saydie Farmer put up a pair of buckets for 2 points each, while Briley Jones hit a free throw for 1 point more.Things didn’t get any better for the Lady Stars however, as they were shut out in the fourth.Leading the offense for the Lady Pioneers was Kinslee Grissom with 10 points, Lydia White 6, Jaycie Hodges and Samantha McCormick both had 4 points each, and Bella Bain added 2 points.The Lady Pioneers play gain Friday, Dec. 2 at West Elementary.Bobby Ray plays at Eastside Thursday, Dec. 1. Game times are 6 p.m.
