Tullahoma East was the latest speed bump for the Warren County Middle School 7-8 grade boys basketball team. The Pioneers slowed down briefly, then proceeded to flatten Tullahoma on the way to a convincing 59-17 victory on the road Monday night. The win improved WCMS to 13-4 as the Pioneers have won seven of their last eight. The game was only close for the opening quarter. After that, WCMS barreled its way to a 30-13 halftime lead.If Tullahoma entertained any hopes of a second-half comeback, those hopes were crushed when the Pioneer defense only allowed two points in the third quarter.A.D. Majors led a balanced WCMS scoring attack with 12 points. Jake Pennington was also in double digits with 10.
