The start of the spring sports season couldn’t have arrived any sooner for members of the Warren County High School baseball, softball, soccer, tennis and track teams.Tomorrow is the first day teams can compete in games and three WCHS teams will hit the ground running. The only home game will be coach Adam Childs making his debut as the head man for the Pioneer baseball team.Following a 10-17 season, the Pioneers return to the diamond under new leadership and will open the season against Cannon County at Patrick Ramsey Field. Game time is set for 5 p.m.Coach Childs is eager to get the season started. Though a little nervous about his first time suiting up in front of the Pioneer faithful, coach Childs is more concerned with how his team performs.“I’ll be nervous, but it’s not about me,” said Childs.
