Hanging around like a stain on the carpet from Thanksgiving dinner, Coffee County came within 1 point of the Pioneers on Monday as the final seconds ticked away.Standing at 55-54 with :02 left, Pioneer Irving Espinoza drew the foul as Coffee County fought for possession. Espinoza was up for the challenge, making both free throws to make it a 57-54 ballgame. With .19 left on the clock, the Red Raiders threw down court but the ball ended up with Warren County’s Isaiah Grayson at the buzzer and the Pioneers held on for the home win.“At the high school level, a win’s a win,” said Warren County Pioneer coach Chris Sullens.
