The Warren County High School girls soccer team finished second in the district and second in the district tournament last year. One spot higher and the Lady Pioneers will be champions this season. With a roster loaded with experienced players, including several stars, coach Todd Willmore is in position to win the district. One chief obstacle will be overcoming traditional soccer powerhouse Soddy Daisy, which joins the district as a newcomer this year. Rounding out the five-team soccer district are Cookeville, White County and Rhea County.“I think we have the potential to have a good year and be competitive,” said Willmore.
