Lauren Slatton has improved to 4-for-4 in this young golf season.Slatton has golfed in four events for Warren County High School and she’s won all four of them.This time, Slatton shot a career-best 69 to win Thursday at Lake Tansi in Cumberland County. It was a 3-under-par performance for the Lady Pioneer freshman.In boys competition, Pioneer sophomore Chase Newby also shot a career-best at Lake Tansi. He blistered the course to shoot 77 and finish as the top Pioneer golfer.“Lauren’s putter was working well for her,” said WCHS golf coach J.W.
