Behind an 81 from Jaeden Pyburn, the Pioneer golf team finished fifth in an 11-team tournament Monday at Lake Tansi.Warren County finished with a team score of 339. That was 25 strokes behind Walker Valley and Cookeville, which finished tied for first at 314.Pyburn’s score of 81 was 7 strokes higher than best of the day. Nicholas Thompson of McMinn County had the lowest score at 74.Other Warren County golfers were Levi Craven 83, Nate Cantrell 84, Peyton Haston 91 and Bunker Brock 96.Next up for the Pioneers is a match against Livingston Academy this coming Thursday at Hidden Valley Country Club.
