Monday was the first opportunity for the WCHS golf teams to get back into the swings of things. The Pioneers and Lady Pioneers kicked off their season in the Early Bird Invitational held at Golden Eagle Golf Club in Cookeville. Playing against Cookeville and White County, the Pioneer boys turned in the second-best team score (341), while the rebuilding Lady Pioneers were third with a team score of 224.
