The recommendations still must be finalized by the TSSAA Board of Control. If approved, Warren County will compete in Region 2, which also includes Blackman, Coffee County, Cookeville, Oakland, Riverdale, Siegel, and Smyrna.Warren County has faced the Murfreesboro schools in the past, but hasn’t played them regularly since the late 1990s and early 2000s. The last time the Pioneers played Riverdale during the regular season was in 1998 when the Warriors beat Warren County 48-0 at Nunley Stadium.
