The WC Barcelona 3v3 soccer team competed in the Challenge Sports 3v3 Nationals at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports last weekend.
The local U17 boys competitive team faced squads from Georgia, Florida, and Missouri. This year’s team consisted of Andrew Palmer, Adrian Tejas, Will Cheek, Jackson Smith, Andres Perez, and Alex Pullon.  After two wins and two losses in pool play, the Warren County representatives were in a four-way tie for second and drew the No. 2 seed on goal differential.
On the final day of the tournament, WC Barcelona competed well, but fell to fourth in the final standings. Will Cheek led the team in scoring with six goals scored, followed by four from Jackson Smith, three by Adrian Tejas, and one by captain Andrew Palmer.
