With the victory, Walker’s improved to a league-leading 4-0.It was business as usual for Walker’s as the team built an early lead and got strong pitching from Macie Walker and Livia Walker.L&M Floors scored two runs in the top of the first as Riley Rippy drove in a run with a single and came around later to score on a passed ball, but it was the only time the team held the advantage on the scoreboard.Walker’s answered with five runs in the bottom of the first as Kionna Smith capped the inning with a two-run single. The league’s five-run rule per inning was enforced, sending Walker’s into the second leading 5-2.Walks gave L&M Floors another run in the second as McKenna Panter scored on a bases-loaded walk to Anna Grace Bain.Skylar Youngblood and Macie Walker each had RBI singles in a four-run second inning for Walker’s.
