KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee coach Derek Dooley thought he'd seen it all in a difficult two seasons with the Volunteers. Then he found out he had no kicker to face Middle Tennessee during pregame warmups. Starting kicker Michael Palardy injured his leg Thursday in practice, and backup Chip Rhome pulled a muscle while warming up before the game.
