KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Local police are warning Tennessee fans not to storm the field after Saturday's game with Florida at Neyland Stadium.
Knoxville police said in a release posted on the department's Facebook page that anyone who storms the field will be arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing. Anyone caught enticing someone else to storm the field will be arrested and charged with inciting a riot.
Police also will provide university officials with the names of any students arrested.
Tennessee, ranked 23rd in the nation, is attempting to beat the 18th-ranked Gators for the first time since 2004. A sellout crowd is expected, which will result in an increased police presence around Neyland Stadium.
