Ryan Jennings and Logan Underhill just couldn’t resist spending one more day at Warren County High School Thursday. The two former baseball standouts for the Pioneers had good reason to return to their old stomping grounds though, as both were committing to two more years on the diamond and furthering their education. In front of friends, family and former teammates Thursday, Jennings made his pledge to Dyersburg State Community College while Underhill agreed to attend Jackson State Community College. Both players, who were huge contributors to a District 6-AAA championship in May, are excited to be getting back on the baseball field soon.“I’m really excited to get started and move on,” said Jennings. “It’s going to be fun facing better competition and knowing where you stand as a baseball player.”Underhill added, “I’m really pumped to go to Jackson State and get to know new people and play at the next level.”Ever since both could remember, college baseball has been their goal.
