The City of McMinnville Triathlon is scheduled for Aug. 19 at 8 a.m. beginning with a 400-meter swim at the Civic Center’s Gilley Pool. The race will continue with an 18-mile bicycle ride followed by a 5K run once contestants return to the Civic Center.Entry fees go toward scholarships benefitting local swimmers attending Warren County High School. Last year, two scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded.
