The WCHS track team competed in Section II AAA subsectional track meet at Rhea County High School. Christian Locke qualified in the open 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.51. Only the top four individuals in each event qualified. The top four for the 800 were as follows:
1 - Conner Hawkins, Cookeville High School, 1:56.17    
2 - Mel Obadiah, Cleveland High School, 1:57.38     
3 - Christian Locke, Warren Co. High School, 2:02.51    
4 - Brian Byerly, Cleveland High School, 2:02.84     
Locke will run in the Section II AAA Sectional meet Tuesday, May 16. The top four finishers Tuesday will advance to the state meet held at MTSU on Tuesday, May 26.
